David Knowles
David first got into performing as a Butlin’s Redcoat entertainer at Clacton and Brighton back in the 1970s. He went on to appear in many musical theatre shows in the Wolverhampton area during the 1980s and 1990s. In 2001 he appeared as Scrooge at the Core Theatre, Solihull which won him the Frank Greenwood Cup for best actor in the Midlands for that year. Since then he has been running his own business preforming concerts in care homes, community centres and private parties. He sings a mixture of country music, fifties rock and roll, sixties pop and rat pack. He also offers a series of one hour talks on various subjects to care homes.
